It’s Thursday and I am starting to plan out my tri training for the the holiday weekend. Yay for holidays!!!
I haven’t been consistently training since the Iron Girl Columbia Tri a few weeks ago but I am back and ready to rock! I have to say I love doing the training that goes into triathlons but there is nothing that compares to the adrenaline and energy you feel leading up to and during race day!
I am altering my tri training to take advantage of the extra free time this weekend. Woop! Woop!!
Friday: brick 20 miles on the trail and 5k run, total body training on clutch fit plan
Saturday: 1 mile open water swim and 20 mile road ride at local beach each with sprint intervals from clutch fit plan
Sunday: 10k trail run with trail running club, total body training from clutch fit plan
Monday: yoga
I am excited for what the weekend holds with my training!
