Day 2 is here and I have to say I am loving this challenge! I know it’s hard to go outside your comfort zone sometimes but this challenge has been really fun and I actually find myself looking forward to what I am going to try the next day! I have one recipe, Almond Joy, that I am absolutely DYING to try and I have pushed it out until day 4 because I know I am going to love it and I want to give other recipes an honest shot.
I have had people ask me when is the best time to use Shakeology. Shakeology can be used at ANY point in the day. My husband makes his shakes two at a time. One for the following morning and one for the next day so he can grab it from the fridge and use it when he needs a quick meal. One of my coaches makes hers the night before and drinks it at lunch the following day. I find that breakfast works best for me since I’m slightly hungry in the morning but by the time I am on my commute into work I am starving. My shake is easy to take with me and drink on my way into work so I don’t get so hungry I’m no longer hungry once I get settled at the office.
Today’s recipe was Orange Creamsicle. This recipe makes you think of summer as a kid without a care in the world. I was absolutely STARVING this morning and I actually finished my shake half way into my 45 minute commute this morning! If I could have chugged it all at once I probably would have it was THAT good and refreshing! This recipe is SO incredibly simple, clean and uses ice, oranges, orange juice and water!
1 cup orange juice
1 small orange
8 ounce water
1 handful ice
1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
