Day 2: Insanity Plyo Circuit
I’m going to chalk my lack of energy this morning up to fighting off the nasty cold that is going around the office. That’s one thing that I don’t like about starting a new job, all the new germs. I always seem to get sick quickly after starting a new job, or being in a new office location. Never fails.
Any who, I definitely dragged my butt out of bed this morning for this workout. The hubby kept asking me if I was going to get up and workout. I finally did and I am glad that I did. It definitely made the night time medicine wear off quicker and I was ready to conquer my day!
I’m going to be honest and say that I was dreading a 40 minute workout. There is something about anything being over 30 minutes that makes me think UGH but this workout flew by after the warm up was over. There wasn’t one time that I was thinking “when is this going to END”. Not one time! I had to modify some of the plyo moves since my knees tend to bother me after a lot of jumping and I have two herniated disks in my lower back. I ended up modifying about 50% of it but that doesn’t mean I didn’t get a kick ass workout! I pushed myself to work hard and had to take breaks to bring my heart rate back down.
Hopefully, by the end of this boot camp I will be able to do this particular workout all the way through without stopping!
